Singing Circles

Learn to read music through movement and song. Based on the work of Kodaly (solfa) and Dalcroze. Imaginative, playful, expert teaching that you or your child will love, following the progressive curriculum of the Da Capo Music School. Translates to any instrument, excellent for sight-reading, composing, improvising and creativity, bringing you true fluency in the language of music. For complete beginners or to enhance the skills you already have.

Hafren Community Choir

Excellent non-audition choir with inspiring repertoire in harmony, for beginners to experienced singers. Make friends, laugh a lot and develop your voice in a warm, supportive atmosphere.

Singing for Lung Health

Relaxation, breathing and singing exercises to help people with a lung condition to develop a greater awareness of their respiratory muscle use and progressively develop their primary breathing muscles. No singing experience or ability required. Laughter and chat firmly on the menu.

2-3pm, followed by tea, Thursdays, Mill Close Hall, Newtown SY16 2QF.
